On July 11th we will heat up the summer with the stage adaptation of Little Shop of Horrors. This horticultural cult classic will have you screaming with horror and delight. One of the longest-running Off-Broadway shows of all time, this affectionate spoof of 1950s sci-fi movies has become a house-hold name, thanks to a highly successful film version and a score by the songwriting team of Howard Ashman and Alan Menken. Little Shop is composed by Menken in the style of early 1960s includes several well-known tunes, including the title song, "Skid Row (Downtown)," "Somewhere That's Green," and "Suddenly, Seymour." Audiences should expect to see a production of this show unlike any other! Directed and Choreographed by Todd L Underwood. Performances July 11-13 & 16-20 at 7:30pm. July 16 at 2:00pm.

And rounding out the Ryan Main Stage season we will close with the Neil Simon hit classic comedy Biloxi Blues. Biloxi Blues is the second in Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Neil Simon's trilogy that began with Brighton Beach Memoirs and concluded with Broadway Bound. Millbrook is thrilled to announce that we will be presenting Biloxi Blues as part of the celebration for Clinton County's 175th Anniversary. Tying together the celebration of Clinton County and the military theme of Biloxi Blues, Millbrook will honor a Clinton County Veteran before each performance. Recipients will be selected by local committee and given special acknowledgment before each performance. So don’t miss this once in every hundred seventy five year event. Directed by Millbrook's new Producing Artistic Director David E. Leidholdt. Performances July 25-27, 30, 31 & August 1-3 at 7:30pm, August 3 at 2:00pm

Moving on to the Poorman Cabaret; we are launching our 2014 Cabaret Season with the Millbrook Premiere of Miss Abigail’s Guide to Dating, Mating and Marriage by Ken Davenport and Sarah Saltxberg. Miss Abigail is the most sought-after relationship expert to the stars (think Dr. Ruth meets Emily Post), along with her sexy sidekick Paco. Join them as they travel the world teaching Miss Abigail’s outrageously funny "how-to's" on dating, mating and marriage! Let Miss Abigail take you back to a simpler time, before booty calls and before speed-dating . . . back when the divorce rate wasn’t 50% and when ‘fidelity’ was more than an investment firm! Directed by Millbrook newcomer Robert Angelini. Performances June 20-22 & 25-29 at 7:30pm, June 25 at 2:00pm.

Just in time for Little League season, Millbrook will present Rounding Third by Richard Dresser. Don and Michael are two well-meaning dads eager to coach their sons' Little League team to victory - as soon as they can agree on exactly what that means. Veteran coach Don wants to win at all costs; newcomer Michael just wants the kids to have fun. Stuck together for an entire season, they struggle to resolve their differences and get their team to the championship. It's a scary look at raising kids in a world where winning is everything. Rounding Third will be directed by the skillful hands of Millbrook alumni Lawrence Lesher. Performances July 3-6 & 9-13 at 7:30pm, July 13 at 2:00pm. No performance July 4.

And if you loved last years hit Boeing Boeing you’ll love Don’t Dress for Dinner by the same creators Marc Camoletti and Robin Hawdon. Bernard is planning a romantic weekend with his chic Parisian mistress, whilst his wife is away. He has invited his best friend, Robert, along too to provide the alibi. It's foolproof; what could possibly go wrong? Well you will have to attend dressed and ready to see how this hilarious confusion ensues, it’s a not to be missed evening, (dressed or not). Directed by Synge Maher from Millbrooks 39 Steps. Performances July 18-20 & 23-27 at 7:30pm, July 23 2:00pm.

Last, but certainly not least, join us as we transform the Poorman Cabaret into a church basement from rural Minnesota. The Church Basement Ladies, a Millbrook premiere, is a celebration of the church basement kitchen and the women who work there. From the elderly matriarch of the kitchen to the young bride-to-be learning the proper order of things, the book and music by Jim Stowell, Jessica Zuehlke and Drew Jansen give us a touching, funny look at their lives as we see them handle a record breaking Christmas dinner, the funeral of a dear friend, a Hawaiian Easter Fundraiser, and a steaming hot July wedding. It's Heavenly! DIrected by Millbrook fan favorite Marc De La Concha. Performances August 1-3, & 6-10 at 7:30PM, August 6 at 2PM.

We are proud to continue our highly acclaimed Saturday Morning Children's Theatre with another season of wondrous stories and fun filled adaptations. Opening June 14, 21 and 28 a new adaptation of a classic story; Rescuing Rapunzel by Janie Wallace and Joshua Zecher-Ross. And on July 12, 19 and 23 see a dancing cat, a howling dog, and a vampire bunny when we present Bunnicula created by James and Deborah Howe. All shows at 10:00am, $5.00 at the door (no advanced sales).
